SAM is made of two products: a code generator and a customizable qualification kit.
The code generator simply convert a software architecture description in Lua (LuaX) to a set of C sources implementing type, constant and actor declarations and skeletons.
The qualification kit is a SAM-based software that tests the code generator.
It provides two test levels:
The qualification kit available in the download pages runs on Linux.
The api directory contains the sources that must be adapted
by the customer to make the tests run on a different platform
(sequencer, communication with the test PC…).
Warning: the qualification kit is available with the SAM Pro edition only (licenses available in the Download page).
